Dear Colleagues!It is my pleasure to welcome you to our conference website! The Debrecen Dental Days, organized by the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Debrecen, has become one of the most important professional meetings of the country. The Faculty of Dentistry celebrates its 15th anniversary this year, and although our Faculty is one of the youngest in the University of Debrecen, the dental education has a long history and a strong tradition in Debrecen. Due to the efforts made in the past one and a half decades, the Faculty of Dentistry has become one of the country's most dynamic educational institutions. We have made successful progress in the fields of education, patient care and research, establishing the current situation of the Faculty. As a result, we have all the necessary equipment, instruments and techniques to provide world class education and patient care. I think this event is a special occasion to celebrate our successes with all those taking part in everyday life of the Faculty during the last 15 years and in the previous decades - either as a tutor or as a student. This year as well, we tried to compile an exciting, professionally useful program. In addition to the excellent Hungarian lecturers, we have invited many renowned international experts to share with us their professional knowledge and the latest research results. According to our traditions the Faculty's Alumni Meeting will be held as a joint event of the Debrecen Dental Days. We hope to welcome back our alumni students for Thursday night to have a nice dinner and to raise a glass of good wine with us, with our colleagues, friends and the participants of the conference. I am confident that our conference will provide opportunities to form a professional community, to create and cultivate valuable personal relationships while sharing and discussing scientific results. I hope that our participants will remember with pleasure not only for the scientific lectures, but also for the recreational programs provided by Debrecen, one of the most important medical and thermal tourism centre in Hungary.
